Men's Track Competes at Princeton Quad - PennAthletics.comPublished by
PRINCETON, N.J. - The Penn men's track team participated in a non-scoring meet at
Princeton's Weaver Stadium Saturday, along with Rutgers, Villanova, and
the host Tigers. The Quakers won two individual titles, as Bryan Scotland and Darryll Oliver went 1-2 in the 800 -- clocking 1:52.58 and 1:52.74, respectively -- while Tim Kaijala earned victory in the 1,500 with a time of 3:50.54. In the relay events, Penn won the 4x400. In the 400, the Quakers went 2-3-4 with Sam Shepherd (48.20 seconds), Andrew Anderson (48.49) and Ben McKean (48.54). In the 100, Kevin Benjamin and Joey Brown clocked 10.89 seconds; Benjamin was listed as third in the race, while Brown was fourth. In the 110 hurdles, Kyle Calvo was third in 15.19 seconds, while Mike Hall was fourth (15.23) and Jeremy Sinclair was fifth (15.37). Sinclair also took third in the 400 hurdles, in
54.18 seconds, while Calvo and Hall took second and fourth,
